In our Western life, our head naturally has a tendency to move forward.
Most of us these days have forward head posture from being on our phones, driving and at our desks. Even the way we sleep affects our head position.
In this video, I give you some simple ways to check whether you have forward head position and things you can do to correct it (without a PT visit!).
You’ll learn strategies to notice when your head is forward and simple exercises to open back up and come back into correct alignment.
Having proper posture with our head, neck and spine means our weight is evenly balanced and we’re not leaning forward and gripping our toes, which causes pelvic floor tension.
It also allows our breathing patterns to be open and healthy which in turn affects the health and overbalance of our core and pelvic floor.
